Cici fader
CiCi Fader is an Adjunct Piano Studies Faculty member at New York University, in the studio of multi-Grammy nominated professor Alan Feinberg. At NYU Ms. Fader teaches private students and group classes at the Steinhardt School. She has won many awards and has established herself as a performer in local, national and international venues. CiCi’s accomplishments include being awarded first prize in the prestigious Bradshaw & Bruno International Piano Competition, winning the Marguerite Suozzi Young Performers Competition, being a multi-year winner of the New York Music Competition leading to multiple performances at Carnegie Hall, Weill Hall and venues around New York City. Ms. Fader has won many piano competitions including the Steinway & Sons Piano Competition in Long Island, New York. At only 13 years old CiCi was selected to accompany Lang Lang in the 101 Pianists Concert at the Tilles Center. Her most recent engagements include the Alpenkammermusik Festival in Austria, master classes at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and solo concerts in New York, Tianjin (China), and Lianyungang (China).
An active pianist and philanthropist, she has participated in solo and chamber recitals and has initiated a series of recitals titled “Musical Journey" at the Jericho Public Library, East Meadow Public Library, East Meadow NY, and Queens Public Library. CiCi’s prodigious talent and joy of performing have been noticed by local media channels. She has been featured in articles, and radio interviews - including a front-page newspaper feature called "Piano Girl" and a half-hour interview on "My Hometown" radio show, WHPC FM. She is dedicated to community service and has organized and overseen fundraising for the Young Artists Art Exhibition at Queens Public Library, and also committing her time to performing regularly at the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, NY.
CiCi was selected to attend "Summer Performing Arts With Juilliard" in Geneva Switzerland, and spent two summers at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Summer Piano Academy with Dr. Karen Taylor. She attended the Pre College program at Manhattan School of Music, studying with Dr. Adam Kent. Ms. Fader was accepted to the Curtis Institute Summer Music Festival and Philadelphia International Music Camp and Festival, Bryn Mawr College, PA. She earned her BA in Music at NYU, graduating with honors. She was selected as the 2025 undergraduate Presser Scholar by the Presser Foundation of Philadelphia PA, was selected by the NYU faculty to receive the Richard Hirsch Memorial Award for Student in the Arts, is a recipient of the NYU Founders Award and performed in the NYU Honors Recital. In 2024 Ms. Fader performed a well-received solo piano recital in Tianjin, and returned to China in the summer of 2025 to make her solo and orchestral debut in Lianyungang with the AiYue Orchestra. She is currently pursuing her Masters at New York University, continuing her studies with Alan Feinberg and performing at various venues throughout New York.
